1) Xiaomi laptop versions and differences

The Xiaomi Redmibook 16 Pro (2024) laptop has 2 different versions. The only thing that varies is the processor, which can be Intel Core Ultra 5 or Intel Core Ultra 7.

Here is a comparison of the two versions:

• 1) Processor: Intel Core Ultra 5-125H + RAM: 32GB + Storage: 1TB SSD + Graphics card: Intel Arc (integrated).
• 2) Processor: Intel Core Ultra 7-155H + RAM: 32GB + Storage: 1TB SSD + Graphics card: Intel Arc (integrated).

2) Redmibook 16 Pro Processor (2024).

The Redmibook 16 Pro (2024) has two processor options, the Intel Core Ultra 5-125H or the Intel Core Ultra 7-155H. Both combined with Intel Arc integrated graphics.

In more detail, the Intel Core Ultra 5-125H processor uses the latest and most innovative Meteor Lake microarchitecture and belongs to the 14th generation. It reaches up to 4.5GHz of turbo power, with 3.6GHz of normal, and has 14 cores, 4 high-performance (P-Cores), 8 high-efficiency (E-Cores) and 2 low-power (LP-E cores), and 18 threads, as well as three-level cache at 18MB.

The other variant, which is the most powerful, mounts an Intel Core Ultra 7-155H, also with the new Meteor Lake microarchitecture and 14th generation. It reaches 4.8GHz in turbo and 3.8GHz in normal, with 16 cores, 6 high-performance (P-Cores), 8 high-efficiency (E-Cores) and 2 low-power (LP-E cores), and 22 threads, with three-level cache at 24MB.

These CPUs are the first manufactured with Intel 4 photolithography and feature even more ambitious graphics logic than their predecessors, as well as greater capacity to run artificial intelligence processes.

The Xiaomi Redmibook 16 Pro (2024) has, in its two versions, Intel Arc integrated graphics, which have a low-power architecture so that the user can design and multitask, in addition to offering richer experiences in video games and greater speed for creators.

If we wanted more in this area, within the Redmibook range we should go for a Redmibook 15 Pro (2022) which, in its higher versions, sports an NVIDIA GeForce RTX2050. It is very important to note that this is SSD storage space, something that is starting to become quite common among mid-range and high-end laptops, and of course, in all Xiaomi laptops, which makes the whole computer go much faster.

This is a field where all Xiaomi laptops, especially those launched more recently (from 2018 onwards), stand out enormously. Let’s be clear: if you start looking, you will find another laptop with similar specifications at a technical level. Now, when you ask these ones:

It has a brightness of up to 500 nits, an aspect ratio of 16:10 and dynamic refresh rate of 165Hz with DRR refresh (60/120Hz), has TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free certifications and supports DC dimming and Dolby Vision.

As far as screen size is concerned (and consequently, size of the entire notebook itself), the Redmibook line did not have 16” screens since the old Redmibook 16 , currently discontinued.
